Original green cloth, the spine lettered in gilt, coloured map endpapers, dust-jacket with illustrations by the author and price of 7s. 6d. unclipped (some tearing at edges with very slight loss, the backstrip lightly browned, some spotting to the endpapers). Provenance: Henrietta Louise Sharpe, Culverlands (juvenile signature on the front free endpaper). FIRST EDITION.
