The map is extracted from Michael Drayton's work "Poly-Olbion" which was published between 1612 and 1620. With 3 other miscellaneous maps including one by Merian, in 2 lateral sections, c.1620, "showing the Royal Progress from Hampton Court to London beneath the arrival of the King and Queen at Portsmouth" (according to a label pasted onto the verso of the frame).
