Surmounted by a brass finial above a spreading pediment, with arched case above glazed convex 8in white-painted dial with faintly inscribed Tho Wright / Dorking / 1818, pierced blued steel hands, the sides each with a lion mask above silk-lined arched fishscale grille panels, on a stepped base and four brass ball feet, the twin train gut fusée movement with anchor escapement and strike on a bell

CONDITION REPORT
With its pendulum.  No key.

In overall good original condition.  The case has been cleaned and repolished at some point . A small filled crack in the centre of the front.  Some marks and paint losses on the dial.  The signature is just visible.  The movement will require a clean and service.  The pendulum locking bolt is a replacement.
