The Air is Chilled 2021 Certificate of Authenticity

An artwork filled with vibrant colour and painted with a free and expressive use of acrylic paint on canvas.  ‘The Air is Chilled’ is very atmospheric and  has a wonderful depth.  It is based on the Bure river, Norfolk during the cold winter months.

Dalzell’s paintings are large, colourful and expressive. Her free and lively use of paint makes her work as much about mood as it is of place. They celebrate the joy of light and colour in nature as well as the shape of the landscape.  She describes her paintings as a ‘snapshot’ both visually and emotionally of a place.  Many of her paintings are inspired by her Norfolk home.

Acrylic paint on canvas with black wooden tray frame.
