Patrice Lombardi

In all of her paintings Patrice strives to capture the essence of each of her subjects. Light and colour are the vital components of her painting. Delicate tonal modulations are brilliantly observed, but not necessarily in a literal way. Images emerge as much from an inner vision as from external observation giving them an air of heightened reality. In developing her vision in paint, Patrice has had over 20 solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in the UK, Italy, USA and Mauritius. Patrice has a base of collectors world-wide and works for private clients, academic institutions and public institutions in executing commissions. These commissions include landscape and object paintings as well as portraiture and animal studies. Patrice has also taught painting for different American universities in Italy and the USA.
